Abstract: Ecofeminism is conceived to be one of the crucially important means for the salvation of modern civilization ever since its emergence. This paper intends to explore the origin of this term, its main tenets and its close relationship with the present era in the hope of proving that Ecofeminism embodies the spirit of the times.
