Abstract: Transient receptor potential channel 1 (TRPC1) is a nonselective cation channel protein that is required for Ca2+ homeostasis. Recently, more and more evidences have certificated that TRPC1 is necessary for the cellular functions, such as cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis, and involved in diverse physiological processes. This paper mainly reviews the progress in understanding the function of TRPC1 in immune regulation.
