Analysis on the Characteristics of Temperature in the Same Period in the History of the Wuhan Military Games
Abstract: Based on the temperature data from 5 national meteorological observatories in Wuhan since the observation started, and the background of the temperature in the past, perennial and recent years, we analyzed the average temperature, average high and low temperature, daily temperature changes, and the temporal and spatial characteristics of extremely high and low temperatures in October during the 7th CISM Military World Games. At the same time, we briefly analyzed the tem-perature during the opening and closing ceremonies, and the weather when extreme temperature occurred. The results show that the temperature in Wuhan in that period was on the rise in general, and the spatial distribution is high in the south and low in the north. During autumn in the past time, the temperature in Wuhan has a typical change. The temperature shows a steady decline from ten days to ten days in October, and it drops significantly in the last ten days of October. The daily temperature varies significantly as well. The daily temperature gap is around 8˚C. The temperature during the opening and closing ceremonies was suitable. But there were extremely high temperatures above 30˚C and extremely low temperatures below 10°C, which were characterized by uneven temporal and spatial distribution.
