Abstract: As a stable personality trait, the negative of perfectionism leads to the negative mood, such as de-pression. Due to the stability and unchangeable characteristics of perfectionism, it is necessary to explore the mediation mechanism between perfectionism and depression. As for mediation me-chanism, we expect to find positive variables to resolve the psychological problems effectively caused from perfectionism. We draw a conclusion on factors of affecting mediation mechanism between perfectionism and depression, such as, self-respect, coping style, social support, uncondi-tional self-acceptance. It is our expectation to help resolving psychological problems effectively, such as depression, negative factors caused from perfectionism.
