Do You Lower Your Moral Standards When Facing an Intimate Lover?
摘要: 本研究采用改进后的模拟小人任务，探究大学生面对陌生人或者恋人时，道德趋避的一致性反应。实验1验证了道德趋避的相容效应；实验2在实验1的基础上，保留道德趋避一致性的反应，结果表明认知对象是恋人还是陌生人，对个体的反应并没有影响；实验3探究道德趋避不一致行为，结果发现，相比于面对陌生人，当面对恋人时，无论是道德–远离反应还是不道德–靠近反应都会更快。结论：人们更倾向于接近道德个体而远离不道德个体；在道德趋避一致的情况下，恋爱关系不影响趋避反应；在道德趋避冲突的情况下，恋爱关系影响趋避反应。
Abstract: This study used an improved manikin task to explore the consistency of moral approach-avoidance behavior of college students when faced with strangers or lovers. Experiment 1 verified the compatibility effect of moral approach-avoidance behavior; Experiment 2 built on Experiment 1 by retaining moral approach-avoidance consistent behavior, and the results showed that whether the cognitive object was a lover or a stranger did not affect the individual’s response; Experiment 3 explored moral approach-avoidance inconsistent behavior, and the results found that when faced with a lover compared to a stranger, both the moral-avoidance reaction and the immoral-approach reaction were faster. Conclusions: People prefer to approach moral individuals and stay away from immoral individuals; romantic relationships do not affect approach-avoidance behavior in the case of moral approach-avoidance consistent condition; romantic relationships do affect approach-avoidance behavior in the case of moral approach-avoidance inconsistent condition.
