东风西渐下梁宗岱法译《陶潜诗选》之陶渊明文化形象蠡测

A Tentative Study on the Cultural Image of Tao Yuanming in Liang Zongdai’s French Translation of “Selected Poems of Tao Qian” under the Trend of the East Wind Blowing Westward

摘要: 梁宗岱的法译《陶潜诗选》问世于第一次世界大战结束至全球经济危机初露端倪这一“东风西渐”的特殊历史节点，其翻译与出版承载着明确的文化输出愿景：将中国文化之精髓视为全人类共有的文明瑰宝，强调其普遍认同的价值，并迫切寻求国际社会的广泛认可。该书借助陶渊明的文学形象，致力于向欧洲读者真实呈现中国文化的深层精髓，意图打破他们对中国既有的刻板印象，推动对中国更深层次的认识与理解。由此，这一时期的陶渊明形象被赋予了特别的文化内涵，与同期象征东方智慧的印度并肩，成为欧洲生活中不可或缺的文化符号。

Abstract: Liang Zongdai’s French translation of “Selected Poems of Tao Qian” was published at a special historical juncture between the end of World War I and the early signs of the global economic crisis, a period marked by the “East Wind Blowing Westward”. Its translation and publication carried a clear vision of cultural export: to regard the essence of Chinese culture as a shared treasure of human civilization, emphasize its universally recognized value, and urgently seek wide recognition from the international community. Through the literary image of Tao Yuanming, the book aimed to present the deep essence of Chinese culture to European readers authentically, intending to break their existing stereotypes about China and promote a deeper understanding and recognition of China. As a result, the image of Tao Yuanming during this period was endowed with special cultural connotations, standing side by side with India, which symbolized Eastern wisdom, as an indispensable cultural symbol in European life.
