数字鸿沟对我国家庭消费的影响研究
Digital Divide and Household Consumption in China
摘要: 我国数字经济产业迅速扩张,日益成为推动经济增长的重要引擎。然而部分家庭受限于数字设备的缺失和相关使用技能的不足,在信息获取方面处于劣势,逐渐形成明显的数字鸿沟。那些数字鸿沟较大的家庭难以平等分享数字经济发展所带来的红利。这种资源分配的不均衡进一步加剧了消费层面的不平等,对居民消费产生抑制作用,并给社会整体发展带来多方面的负面效应。因此,数字鸿沟对消费的消极影响已成为一个亟待解决的问题。在此现实背景下,本文主要运用中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS) 2022年的截面数据,分析了家庭数字鸿沟对家庭消费的影响。本文的研究有助于理解数字鸿沟在微观方面的影响,并为解释我国家庭消费的差异提供了新的证据,具有一定的理论意义和现实意义。
Abstract: China’s digital economy industry is rapidly expanding and increasingly becoming a crucial engine for driving economic growth. However, some households, constrained by the lack of digital devices and insufficient relevant skills, are at a disadvantage in accessing information, gradually forming a significant digital divide. Those households with a larger digital divide are unable to equally benefit from the dividends brought about by the development of the digital economy. This imbalance in resource distribution further exacerbates consumption inequality, suppresses household consumption, and generates various negative effects on overall social development. Therefore, the negative impact of the household digital divide on consumption has become an urgent issue to address. Against this practical background, this paper primarily utilizes cross-sectional data from the 2022 China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) to analyze the impact of the household digital divide on household consumption. The research contributes to understanding the micro-level effects of the digital divide and provides new evidence for explaining differences in household consumption in China, holding both theoretical and practical significance.
