Core Competency Reconstruction and New Career Development Pathways for Hospital Librarians in the AI Era
摘要: 人工智能技术的迅猛发展与广泛渗透,正以显著的深度与广度重塑医疗健康生态。医院图书馆,作为支撑临床决策、医学教育、科研创新与医院管理的核心知识枢纽,其价值实现方式面临系统性重塑。传统以文献资源管理为中心的服务模式,在AI驱动的智能检索、知识计算与数据密集型科研范式面前,遭遇严峻挑战。本文聚焦于AI时代医院图书馆员的职业发展,旨在系统解析其面临的核心能力缺口,构建面向未来的能力重构框架,并规划切实可行的职业发展新路径。研究表明,医院图书馆员必须从被动的“资源保管者”和“服务提供者”,主动进化为主动的“临床知识合伙人”、“数据管理协作者”与“智能素养赋能者”。其能力内核需从传统的信息组织与检索,转向以“临床信息学素养”、“数据智能能力”、“嵌入式服务能力”及“智能技术驾驭力”为核心的复合型素养。职业发展路径应沿着“专科知识导航员”、“研究数据管理专员”、“学术影响力分析师”及“智慧知识库构建师”等方向进行纵深或横向拓展。最终,这一转型的成功有赖于个体终身学习意识的觉醒、组织机构战略的重新定位以及专业教育体系的革新。本研究为医院图书馆员在AI时代的价值锚定与职业跃迁提供了系统性的理论框架与实践指引。
Abstract: The rapid development and widespread penetration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology are reshaping the healthcare ecosystem with unprecedented depth and breadth. The hospital library, serving as a core knowledge hub supporting clinical decision-making, medical education, scientific research innovation, and hospital management, is facing a fundamental transformation in how its value is realized. The traditional service model centered on literature resource management encounters severe challenges in the face of AI-driven intelligent retrieval, knowledge computing, and data-intensive research paradigms. This paper focuses on the career development of hospital librarians in the AI era, aiming to systematically analyze the core competency gaps they face, construct a future-oriented competency reconstruction framework, and plan practical new career development pathways. Research indicates that hospital librarians must proactively evolve from passive “resource custodians” and “service providers” into active “clinical knowledge partners”, “data management collaborators”, and “smart literacy enablers”. Their core competency set needs to shift from traditional information organization and retrieval to a composite literacy centered on “clinical informatics literacy”, “data intelligence capability”, “embedded service capability”, and “smart technology mastery”. Career development pathways should involve vertical or horizontal expansion towards roles such as “specialist knowledge navigator”, “research data management specialist”, “academic impact analyst”, and “smart knowledge base architect”. Ultimately, the success of this transformation depends on the awakening of individual lifelong learning awareness, the repositioning of organizational strategies, and the innovation of professional education systems. This study provides a systematic theoretical framework and practical guidance for the value anchoring and career transition of hospital librarians in the AI era.
