News Visualization and Its Interactive Design Strategies

摘要: 新闻可视化是信息生产发展的历史必然。根据呈现方式和应用场景的不同,新闻可视化可以分成图表可视化、地图可视化、时间轴可视化、三维可视化、社会网络关系可视化、虚拟现实可视化、词频图等几种方式。新闻可视化的交互式设计以新闻叙事为核心、以用户体验为导向,通过设计可操作、可探索、可联动的交互形式,让用户从“被动接收信息”转向“主动挖掘信息”,破解复杂新闻信息的理解壁垒,兼顾新闻的客观性、可读性与用户的参与感、沉浸感,最终强化新闻的叙事深度与传播效力。在设计过程中,需始终坚守新闻的客观性与专业性,平衡“技术实现”与“用户体验”、“叙事引导”与“自主探索”、“理性数据呈现”与“感性情感共鸣”。
Abstract: News visualization is an inevitable historical development in the evolution of information production. Depending on the presentation methods and application scenarios, news visualization can be categorized into several forms, including chart visualization, map visualization, timeline visualization, 3D visualization, social network relationship visualization, virtual reality visualization, and word frequency graphs. The interactive design of news visualization centers on news storytelling and user experience, employing operable, exploratory, and interconnected interaction forms to shift users from “passively receiving information” to “actively mining information.” This approach breaks down barriers to understanding complex news content while balancing the objectivity and readability of news with user engagement and immersion, ultimately enhancing the depth of news narratives and their communication effectiveness. Throughout the design process, it is essential to uphold the objectivity and professionalism of news, harmonizing “technical implementation” with “user experience,” “narrative guidance” with “autonomous exploration,” and “rational data presentation” with “emotional resonance.”
