Research Progress of Movement Disorders and Exercise Rehabilitation in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Abstract: Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by social interaction, communication disorder, repetitive stereotyped behavior and narrow interest. In addition, it has also been observed that children with autism spectrum disorders often have abnormal limb motor function. Abnormal motor function will not only limit children’s daily activities, but also hinder the social and stereotyped behavior rehabilitation work for autistic children. Based on this, this study reviews the research progress at home and abroad. Firstly, it systematically describes the functional abnormalities of autistic children in large movement, fine movement and motor coordination. Secondly, it analyzes the possible relationship between motor dysfunction and the core symptoms of autism. Finally, it explores the effect of exercise rehabilitation on the improvement of motor function, social interaction and repetitive stereotyped behavior of autistic children. This paper is expected to provide a reference for the rehabilitation of autistic children.
