摘要: 变化与革新是美术家创作永恒的主题,也是世界艺术不断得到发展的源动力。在美术史的发展成为“美术家的美术史”的时代之后,这个特征尤为明显。作为美术家革新的标志之一的“标新立异”,成为美术家风格变迁的根本因素。本文笔者从事美术史研究以来,一直关注此问题,感受到美术家笔下的勃勃生机。而这一切都根植于美术家所生存的那片土壤,既矛盾又和谐,既对立又统一。本文考察的对象是19世纪活跃在巴黎社会的印象派后期画家——乔治·修拉(Georges Seurat 1859~1891年)。考察他的点彩世界与当时巴黎社会发展之间千丝万缕的联系。
Abstract: Revolution and reformation is an everlasting theme for the artists, and the driving force of the global art development. It has become more obvious since the history of art transformed into “history of the artists”. The fundamental element for the change of the artists’ painting style is differentiation and innovation, which is one of the symbols of artists’ reformation. The author has paid close attention to this topic and touched by the vitality and energy created by the artists since researching on art history. All of them, both contradictory and unified, were based on the places where the artists were living. This paper studies on Georges Seurat (1859-1891), a Post-Impressionist from Paris in the 19th Century, and the relationship between Pointillism and the development of the society in Paris.
