Abstract: Studies have shown that adolescent media use may be associated with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related behaviors (i.e. attention problems, hyperactivity, and impulsivity). Early research has established a relationship between media and ADHD interactions. However, the results obtained by different countries are not consistent, so it is speculated that adolescents’ media use-induced ADHD may be related to regional, cultural and other factors. This study investigated the relationship between overall media use and ADHD-related behaviors of adolescents in China. Meta-analysis was used to conduct empirical research. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between adolescents’ overall media use and ADHD-related behaviors, OR = 2.597.
