张爱玲译本的《老人与海》情感传递程度探究

Exploring the Degree of Emotional Conveyance in Eileen Chang’s Translation of The Old Man and the Sea

摘要: 传统的翻译研究多注重译文的忠实性程度，对文本中的情感色彩并未过多强调。实际上文学作品除了其文本信息外，还蕴含大量的情感信息值得探究。本文意在提高对文学翻译中情感传递程度的关注，以受众极广的《老人与海》原文本及其首个中译本——张爱玲译本之间的情感传递为研究对象，探究作为译者的张爱玲在翻译过程中的文本情感程度变化，研究发现在不改变原作色彩的情况下，张爱玲译本所体现的情感比其他三位入选的著名译者的翻译更为强烈丰富。

Abstract: Traditional translation studies mostly focus on the degree of fidelity of the translated text, paying less emphasis on the emotional elements of the text. In fact, apart from the basic textual meanings of literary works, translation also contains a great deal of emotional elements that are worth exploring. This thesis aims to raise attention to emotions in literary translation and takes the emotional transmission between the original text of The Old Man and the Sea and its first Chinese translation, Eileen Chang’s translation as the object of study. The study finds that the translation of Eileen Chang is more emotional and delicate than the other three selected famous translators, without changing the meanings of the original.
