文化回应性视域下高中英语阅读教学策略初探
An Investigation of English Reading Instruction Strategies in High School from the Perspective of Cultural Responsiveness
摘要: 语言与文化密切相关,学习语言必须同时了解语言背后承载的文化内涵。然而目前的高中英语阅读教学过于注重语言知识,忽视了对学生文化意识的培养。本文以文化回应为理论框架,以高中英语阅读教学为例,梳理当前高中英语阅读教学的现状与问题,探索有效进行阅读教学的措施,并以具体文本为例,结合语言及其背后的文化进行阅读教学的设计与实施,旨在给高中英语阅读教学提出一些可行的建议。
Abstract: Language and culture are intricately intertwined. Studying language requires comprehending its cultural connotations. However, present high school English reading instruction tends to overemphasize linguistic knowledge while disregarding the development of students’ cultural awareness. This paper uses the theoretical framework of cultural responsiveness and high school English reading instruction as a case study to examine the current state and challenges in high school English reading education. It investigates effective methods for reading instruction and, using a specific text as an example, addresses the design and implementation of reading education that incorporates language and its underlying culture. The goal is to provide viable solutions for high school English reading education.
