“胃不和则卧不安”多被历代医家用来解释失眠或不寐的病因病机，笔者熟读原文并结合临床，对其内涵进行分析，认为其是用来阐释哮喘病机的。并从肺胃生理、病理关系和现代研究等三个方面，阐释了“胃不和”所致哮喘的发生机制。
“Disharmony of stomach causing restless sleep” is used to explain the etiology and pathogenesis of insomnia, but the authors maintain that its primary meaning is used to explain the pathogenesis of asthma. According to physiological and pathological relationship between lung and stomach, and modern research, the article explains the mechanism of asthma caused by “disharmony of stomach”.
