In addition, this book systematically investigates the innovation ecosystem for the highquality development of marine cultural tourism, as well as the multi-channel construction, improvement, and implementation safeguards involving deep multi-dimensional integration, support for building a strong nation, and collaborative innovation. These efforts aim to stimulate supply-side reform vitality and new driving forces in the marine cultural tourism industry. Extending the analysis from the Yangtze River Delta to the whole of China, the book comprehensively explores innovative pathways and optimization strategies for the high-quality development of the marine cultural tourism industry, achieving sustainable development of the marine cultural tourism economy, and providing valuable theoretical support and decision-making references for management practices and innovative applications in the marine cultural tourism sector.

This book is the preliminary result of several years of sustained research and careful writing by the author. In the course of preparing the final manuscript, Xu Yang, a master’s student at the School of Economics and Management of Shanghai Maritime University, provided valuable assistance in the drafting of part of chapter 3 and 4, wrote 50,000 words; Zhang Qian, also a master’s student at the same school, contributed substantially to the translation and correction of the book.

Yuxiang Zheng 

The author of this book, Dr. Yuxiang Zheng, is a university professor and doctoral supervisor, an outstanding academic leader in the discipline of management economics, and has presided over projects such as the National Social Science Foundation of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Outstanding Study Abroad Return Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the China Postdoctoral Fund Project. She has studied at Ghent University in Belgium and the University of Rochester in the United States States, and studied at Tsinghua University, Nankai University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University University. Dr. Zheng is currently a professor in the Department of Business and Cruise Management of the School of Economics and Management, Shanghai Maritime University, China, the chairman of the Graduate Subcommittee of the first-level discipline of business administration, and the head of the Institute of Marine Tourism, the Research Center for Digital Intelligence Innovation and Marine Tourism Service Management of Port and Navigation.
