朱元国，南京理工大学数学学科教授，博士生导师。中国运筹学会智能计算分会第一届理事会副理事长、第二届理事会理事长，不确定系统分会第二、三届理事会常务理事，第四届理事会副理事长，江苏省运筹学会副理事长，美国数学会会员，美国《数学评论》评论员，国际期刊Journal of Uncertain Systems，Fuzzy Optimization and Decision Making副主编，Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization，运筹与模糊学编委。

现主要研究方向为不确定优化,不确定最优控制,智能计算
