Abstract: Photosynthesis is one of the basic processes of life activities on the earth. It is the material energy basis for plant growth and development. To date, many photosynthetic protein subunits have been found in plants, and most of these protein subunits play an important role in plant photosynthesis. This paper reviews the research progress of the basic structure and function of major protein subunits of the photosynthetic system I and the photosynthetic system II, and discusses the development trend of subsequent studies of photosystem proteins.
