精神疾病态度与刻板印象量表的编制—前导型研究

Development of the Mental Illness Attitude and Stereotype Questionnaire—Preliminary Study

摘要: 本研究旨在以自编式量表“精神疾病态度与刻板印象”为主轴，针对国外学者所编制量表重新翻译、整理。就研究者所知，因亚洲地区咸有编制精神疾病刻板印象量表，虽国外研究较为多元，但因文化差异而缺少量表使用的适切性。为解决此研究限制，本研究加入更适合亚洲族群的题项，并以情境(setting)划分方式，做为此领域研究前所未有的亮点。运用SPSS统计软件进行描述统计、信度分析、以及探索性因素分析……等方式，以便取得量表适用性之结果，更将各情境中所得出的因素加以命名、归类。整体而言，本量表在精神疾病态度和刻板印象的测量具有相当高的适配性，最后亦对未来研究提出讨论及建议，希望能做为往后临床实务应用之参考，其他详细内容与结果请参见本文。

Abstract: The current research is a self-developed questionnaire, which investigates the notion of “attitudes and stereotypes toward mental illness”. Due to lack of similar questionnaire in Asia area, and the cultural differences which may not be analogical from western research, this questionnaire is de-veloped based on questionnaire from western studies, yet, more cultural adaptable questions are added to make the questionnaire more accommodated to Chinese community. As mentioned, this questionnaire aims to measure attitudes and stereotypes that individuals may obtain toward people who suffer from mental illness, by such it also employs a variety of settings to see how one would react when they encounter the mentally ill in different situations. SPSS software is applied on descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, and exploration factor analysis, as to explore factors that prompt to negative reactions; factors are categorized and named after analysis according to their meaning. As a result, the current questionnaire including all the variety of settings that one may approach persons who are mentally ill in daily life, is highly adaptable be an useful instrument to measure attitudes and stereotypes toward mental illnesses especially in Chinese community in the future. In addition, suggestions and advices are made for further research, in particularly to be the references for application for clinical practices.
