Abstract: Pain is known as “the five vital signs”, and it is very important for the survival and health of the in-dividual. At the same time, chronic pain and other pain-related diseases are often difficult to cure. Patients suffer from pain for a long time causing a negative impact on individual and society. A deep understanding of pain can help us to understand pain and mitigate its negative effects. Pain, as a complex physiological phenomenon, has a close relationship with psychology. In order to help us to understand their relationship, we reviewed the relationship between pain and psychology in this paper, which may improve the effect of clinical treatment.
