Objective: To discuss influencing factors and social support of mental resilience in cancer patients. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted. By using Connor and Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), the self-designed demographic questionnaire was delivered to 170 cancer patients from a 3 Grade Class A Hospital in Shaanxi province. Results: The mental resilience score (55.08 ± 17.96), social support score (39.38 ± 8.57) of cancer patients. There is a positive correlation between the two groups (p < 0.01). There was statistically significant difference in resilience at different levels of age, beliefs, economic levels, and different levels of social support (p < 0.05%). Conclusion: The mental resilience of cancer patients is relatively low compared to normal, and is related to social support, especially subjective support dimension. Prompt clinical treatment can be used to treat and intervene in different situations.
