珍稀植物菊科蚂蚱腿子湖北郧西分布新资料

New Distribution of Rare Plant Myripnois dioica Bunge (Asteraceae) Found in Yunxi, Hubei Province

摘要: 蚂蚱腿子属于菊科稀有的木本类型，为中国特有植物。其主要为华北植物区系，湖北是其分布的最南端。我们在鄂西北开展全国第二次野生重点植物资源调查过程中，新发现了保存良好的天然种群。这一发现为以后的植物遗传多样性和区系研究提供了重要的野生分布资源。现予以报道，并提出了保护建议。

Abstract: The rare plant Myripnois dioica Bunge is the only species of the genus that native to China. It is mainly belonged to the North China floristics, with Hubei province its utmost southward distributional region. It is a very unusual shrub in the Asteraceae in which herbs are in dominant. In a field work for important national plant resources survey, we re-found its new distribution locality with well protected community in Yunxi Wu-Long-He Reserve of Hubei Province since complete disappearance of the early original population of the species. This finding provides important wild distribution information for the future genetic biodiversity and floristics researches. Also we propose protection strategy for the local administration.
