炙甘草与炙甘草汤

Roasted Glycyrrhiza and Roasted Glycyrrhiza Decoction

摘要: 炙甘草作为《中国药典》甘草的蜜炙炮制品，是一个单列品种，与生甘草有不同的功效和应用。炙甘草汤是治疗心动悸，脉结代的名方，其中炙甘草起着重要的作用，但是张仲景使用的炙甘草并非今天我们熟悉的蜜炙品种，而是炒甘草。

Abstract: Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae cum mell, which is the honey-processed slice of Glycyrrhizae, has a separate and individual monograph as documented by Chinese Pharmacopeia. Its functions and indications are different from unprocessed Glycyrrhizae. Zhi Gancao Tang (Prepared Glycyrrhizae Decoction) is a reputable classic formula used to treat palpitation accompanied with anxiety, and intermittent or bound pulse. Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae cum mell plays an important role in this formula. However, it is the fried slice not honey-processed slice of Glycyrrhizae used in the original prescription when Zhang Zhongjin prescribed the formula.
