Exploring Research to the Croton Dosage and Processing Law of the Recycled Recipe of “Hui Hui Prescription”

摘要: 目的：探讨《回回药方》残卷方剂中巴豆之用量及炮制规律。方法：1) 用量：将《回回药方》残卷“众风门”篇和“杂证门”篇中含巴豆的73首方剂，按原文对巴豆每次服用量进行折算、归纳和整理；2) 炮制：对含巴豆方剂方后注中标识有炮制的原文进行梳理和分析。结果：1) 用量：73首方剂中，19首用量不详，余54剂巴豆每次服用均量为0.54克，最大每次服用量为2.124克。其中，残卷“众风门”之“左瘫右痪口眼呙斜类”18首含巴豆方剂，巴豆每次服用均量为0.561克，“疏风顺气类”4首每次服用均量为0.461克，“风癞紫白癜类”8首每次服用均量为0.578克，“众风杂治类”3首每次服用均量为0.743克，“胸膈风类”1首每次用量为0.408克，“暗风类”1首每次用量为0.3克；“杂证门”19首巴豆每次服用均量为0.732克。2) 炮制：《回回药方》残卷“众风门”篇和“杂证门”篇中含巴豆的73首方剂，只有4首对巴豆的炮制有“去壳心、制烧过者、去皮油、用木瓜炒或达达茴香炒”的特殊说明。结论：《回回药方》残卷方剂使用巴豆的每次服用均量(0.54克)、最大量(2.124克)远超现代药典规定量，其炮制方法较为传统(去壳心、去皮油和制熟)。

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the dosage and processing law of Croton in residual Hui Hui Prescription. Method: 1) Dosage: The 73 prescriptions containing Croton in the Zhongfeng Category” and “Incurable Diseases Category” of residual Hui Hui Prescription will be converted, summarized and sorted according to the original text; 2) Processing: The original text marked in the post-note of the croton-contained formula will be combed and analyzed. Results: 1) Dosage: Among the 73 prescrip-tions, Croton’s dosage of 19 prescriptions is unknown. The remained Croton’s dosage of 54 prescriptions is 0.54 g, and the maximum dose is 2.124 g. Among them, there are 18 prescriptions containing Croton of “Left-Related Paralysis, Mouth- and Eye-Related Disorder” type in the “Zhongfeng Category”, the average dose of croton is 0.561 g, and the average dose of each of the 4 prescriptions of “sparing the wind and guiding qi” type is the 0.461 g, the average dose of the 8 samples of “Purpura and Vitiligo” type is 0.578 g, and the average dose of 3 prescriptions of “Zhongfeng Miscellaneous” type is 0.743 g. The average dose of 1 prescription of “Chest Hurricane” type is 0.408 g, and of “Dark Wind” type is 0.3 g; of 19 prescriptions in “Hybrid Category” is 0.732 g. 2) Processing: “Zhongfeng Category” and “Miscellaneous Category” of the residual “Hui Hui Prescription” contain 73 prescriptions of Croton, only 4 of which have special instructions of "shelled, roasted, peeled, fried with papaya or dada fennel" for the processing of Croton. Conclusion: The average and maximum dose of the prescription containing croton in the “Hui Hui Prescription” is 0.54 g and 2.124 g, respectively, which are far more than the specified dosage of modern Pharmacopoeia prescriptions, whose processing method is more traditional (shelling, oil removal, and system, cooked).
