By the power of the reform and opening up, China’s tourism industry sustained and rapid develop- ment and more and more people join the ranks of the tourism. Tourism is not the noble act, but a way to mass tourism. The residents of less developed regions travel motivations and demand of the residents are subject to many factors, but lags far behind the developed areas. The paper takes Puning as an example to analyze the re- sidents of less developed regions travel motivations and demand of the residents, hoping to find the influence factors which people transforms tourist motives into travel behavior, travel behavior of universality and regu- larity. To promote the development of Puning tourism better.
