17世纪英荷东印度公司比较探析

Comparison of the British-Dutch East India Company in the 17th Century

摘要: 大航海以来，由于资本原始积累的需求，西欧各国掀起航海热潮。17世纪以来，英国和荷兰相继在南亚和东南亚等地区展开一系列殖民争夺，由于英荷两国资本主义发展程度以及国内其他诸多因素差异巨大，故两国东印度公司从创建到资金的运转方式都存在巨大的差异。本文对两个公司从创立过程，殖民历程，经营、管理模式，资金运作进行了对比研究，有助于更好地理解英、荷两国资本主义发展的差异及不同殖民政策对亚洲地区所产生的不同影响。

Abstract: Since the navigation, due to the original demand for capital, western European countries set off a navigation boom. In the 17th century, Britain and the Netherlands successively launched a series of colonial battles in South and Southeast Asia. Due to the huge differences in the development degree of capitalism between Britain and the Netherlands and many other factors in China, there were huge differences between the two East India companies from creation to capital operation. This pa-per makes a comparative study on the founding process, colonial course, management mode and capital operation of the two companies, which is helpful to better understand the differences in cap-italist development between Britain and the Netherlands and the different influences of different colonial policies on the Asian region.
