通过新东方托福融慧课堂探究教学转型对教师研训的新要求
Research on the Requirements for Development and Training of Teachers Imposed by the Teaching Transformation Embodied in New Oriental TOEFL Merging Courses

摘要: 随着全球部分国家及地区疫情形势得到控制出现缓和,今年及可预见的将来出国留学人数将会有一定增长,因此托福等国际标化语言考试也会存在新一轮发展。在此背景下,新东方教育科技集团国际教育培训事业部结合线上课程的模式推出“融慧课堂”,既满足了当下部分考生利用碎片化时间备考的需求,又通过互动视频的形式颠覆了考生对于传统线上课程的刻板印象,极大地优化了学习体验和课堂效果。本文将通过对比融慧课堂内容与新东方托福标化教材设计之间的异同,帮助教师熟悉融慧课堂,以期为托福教师备课及教研师训优化迭代提供一定参考与借鉴。
Abstract: Given COVID-19 global pandemic has gradually been under control, it’s foreseeable that there will be a certain increase in the number of the students seeking for furthering education overseas in the near future, which will also promote the popularity of TOEFL and other standardized language tests worldwide. Under such circumstance, the Merging Courses are released by the International Education and Training Department of New Oriental Education & Technology Group, not only to meet the needs of the students making full use of free time preparing for the tests, but also upgrade the learning experience by the interactive videos, not conforming to the stereotype of conventional online courses. By comparing the New Oriental standardized TOEFL textbooks from which Merging Courses are derived and developed, this article aims to familiarize TOEFL teachers with the Courses, as well as to provide reference for TOEFL teachers to prepare lessons and organize training related to this new form of language courses.
