Abstract: The curability of chronic wounds is related to the formation of bacterial biofilm (BBF), and the treatment needs to consume a lot of medical resources. Therefore, BBF has become the focus of at-tention of clinicians and researchers. This paper mainly reviews the overview, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of BBF, focusing on the selection of therapeutic strategies, including debridement, negative pressure therapy, anti-biological film agent and the application of various innovative dressings. Currently, combination therapy is mainly used for BBF in clinical practice, hoping that this paper can provide new ideas and suggestions for the treatment of BBF in clinical chronic wounds.
