Abstract: In this paper, a novel electrochemical biosensor was fabricated based on CaCO3-chitosan composite nano- materials, which was characterized by cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, chronoamperome- try and scanning electron microscopy. The electrochemical behaviors of redox protein (enzyme) were studied in details and the new methods for determination of H2O2 were developed. These studies enriched the study of biological electro- analytical chemistry, expanding the scope of the application of nanocomposites.
