Abstract: The culture of animal year which lasts thousands of years is a traditional custom affecting us sig-nificantly. In order to inherit Chinese civilization and promote Chinese traditional culture, we in-troduce the origin of animal year, the customs of animal year and the art of animal year in this paper.
