话题链视域下《兰亭集序》的汉英对比研究

A Comparative Chinese-English Study of The Orchid Pavilion from the Perspective of Topic Chains

摘要: 话题链作为篇章组织建构的核心手段，在汉英文本中均占据重要地位。本文从话题链视角出发，以《兰亭集序》原文及林语堂的英译为例，探究汉英话题链结构特征、表现形式的异同，并阐述在典籍英译的过程中如何实现汉英话题链的对等转换、互相通达。本研究以期为中华典籍翻译实践及汉英对比研究提供一定借鉴。

Abstract: Topic chains, a central means of textual organization and construction, play a significant function in both Chinese and English texts. This paper will set from the perspective of topic chains to explore the similarities and differences in the structural characteristics and expressions of Chinese-English topic chain, and expound how to realize the equivalent transformation and mutual access of Chinese-English topic chain in the process of English translation of classics, taking the original Chinese version of The Orchid Pavilion and its English translation (by Lin Yutang) as an example. This study is expected to provide some references for the translation practice of Chinese classics and the comparative study between Chinese and English.
