“水文化”中的生态文明书写——纪录片《海河》的多模态叙事研究
The Ecological Civilization Narrative in “Water Culture”—A Study on the Multimodal Narration of the Documentary Haihe River
摘要: 中华民族水文化与生态文明具有精神内核上的深刻统一性,通过水文化故事的讲述传播我国生态文明智慧是当下国际传播中亟需关注的问题。而纪录片作为一种视听载体能直观地呈现故事内容。本文解读了纪录片《海河》中的视觉模态、听觉模态、文字模态所表征的叙事意义,发现三者协作从历史–空间–价值三个维度共同实现了以“水”为内隐主线的生态文明内涵的故事呈现。历史维度展现了从“共生–征服–敬畏”自然的回归;空间维度通过构建海河流域空间叙事强化了以京津冀为核心的“流域命运共同体”认知;价值维度则通过勾连民俗与现代实践,实现传统生态智慧当代转化。对纪录片《海河》进行多模态解读能助力以“水文化”为主体的生态纪录片制作,也为生态文明的视频媒体传播提供了新的视角。
Abstract: The water culture of the Chinese nation and ecological civilization share a profound unity in their spiritual core. Disseminating China’s ecological wisdom through water culture narratives is an urgent issue in current international communication. As an audiovisual medium, documentaries can vividly present such stories. This paper analyzes the narrative meanings conveyed through the visual, auditory, and textual modalities in the documentary Haihe River, revealing how their collaboration constructs the story of ecological civilization with “water” as the implicit theme across historical, spatial, and value dimensions. Historically, it depicts a return to nature from “coexistence-conquest-reverence”. Spatially, it reinforces the concept of a “watershed community with a shared future” centered on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region through the river basin’s spatial narrative. In terms of values, it bridges folklore and modern practices to facilitate the contemporary transformation of traditional ecological wisdom. A multimodal interpretation of the documentary Haihe River can contribute to the production of ecological documentaries centered on “water culture”, while also offering a fresh perspective for the dissemination of ecological civilization through video media.
