游戏教学法在小学英语课堂教学的应用原则、现实困境及优化路径研究

Research on the Application Principles, Practical Challenges, and Optimization Pathways of the Game-Based Teaching Method in Primary School English Classroom Instruction

摘要: 随着素质教育的深入开展，小学英语教学越发关注激发学生学习兴趣以及提高综合能力，游戏教学法作为一种兼具活力与趣味的教学形式，正逐渐在小学英语课堂教学实践中获得广泛采用，本文围绕游戏教学法在小学英语课堂当中具体怎样应用展开研究，对其应用的理论基础做了分析，分析了词汇教学、语法教学、口语教学等不同英语教学部分里游戏教学法的实施办法。对实际课堂教学案例观察与分析后察觉到，游戏教学法不仅能有效地吸引小学生的注意力，调动他们对英语学习的兴趣与积极性，还可于轻松欢快的氛围中增强学生的语言运用、团队协作及思维能力，本文同样指出了游戏教学法应用过程中存在的问题，且给出了相应的改进举措，意在为小学英语教师更恰当地运用游戏教学法提供参考，提升小学英语教学质量水平。

Abstract: With the deepening implementation of quality education, primary school English teaching has increasingly focused on stimulating students’ interest in learning and enhancing their comprehensive abilities. As a dynamic and engaging teaching method, the game-based teaching approach has gradually gained widespread adoption in primary school English classroom practices. This paper investigates the specific application of game-based teaching in primary school English classrooms, analyzing its theoretical foundations and exploring implementation methods for different aspects of English teaching, such as vocabulary instruction, grammar teaching, and oral communication. Through observation and analysis of actual classroom teaching cases, it is observed that the game-based teaching method not only effectively captures students’ attention and fosters their interest and enthusiasm in learning English but also enhances their language skills, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The paper also identifies issues in the application of game-based teaching and proposes corresponding improvement measures, aiming to provide primary school English teachers with references for more appropriate use of this method and to improve the overall quality of primary school English teaching.
