Abstract: This study explores the potential connections between Yinshan rock art and art healing. Through a detailed visual and iconographic analysis of the image symbols found in Yinshan rock art, the study interprets their symbolic meanings and embedded artistic signification. From the perspective of art anthropology, it further examines whether these visual symbols can be transformed into mediating agents of art healing in contemporary contexts and considers their potential therapeutic effects on viewers. Employing ethnographic methods, the research documents observational details from the Yinshan rock art site located at Huren Aobao, Urad Middle Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and analyzes the relationship between the visual symbols of Yinshan rock art and their potential healing qualities. This study represents an interdisciplinary approach that integrates art anthropology, art healing, and symbolic interpretation, contributing to a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of Yinshan rock art and its potential role in promoting psychological well-being.
