Abstract: From the pre-Qin era through to the Qing Dynasty, the ideas and principles of ancient Chinese art and architecture, encapsulated in the philosophy of creation, not only influenced the craftsmanship over the centuries and established the material base for Chinese civilization but also offer valuable perspectives for current design practices. The influential individuals, their contributions, and concepts from each period genuinely and impartially showcase the ethnic cultural traits of various times, capturing the comprehensive qualities and ongoing development of Chinese culture and art. From this, individuals can not only gain a clear insight into their history but also develop a vivid comprehension of their current situation.
