儿童自尊与父母教养方式关系的个案研究
A Case Study on the Relationship between Children’s Self-Esteem and Parental Rearing Style

本文采用个案研究法,对刚步入青春期具有明显叛逆特征的个案中儿童期自尊与其父母教养方式的关系展开了探索。首先采用自尊量表测定两个个案的自尊程度,然后结合两个家庭多年来日常生活所收集的资料,对两个个案进行深入的对比分析,寻找影响儿童自尊的因素。结果显示儿童的自尊由社会关系和物质身体共同决定,而父母不同的教养方式可能会在父母教养涉及较多的方面促进或抑制儿童自尊的发展,从而对该儿童的整体自尊造成影响。同时父母教养方式对儿童自尊的影响在一定程度上是可预测的、可控制的,父母可以通过调整自己的教养方式达到调节儿童自尊的目的。
Abstract:
Using case study method, this paper explores the relationship between childhood self-esteem and parenting style of the cases with obvious rebellious characteristics just entering puberty. First, the self-esteem level of the two cases was measured by self-esteem scale, and then it is combined with the data collected by the two families in their daily life for many years. The two cases were compared and analyzed in depth to find the factors affecting children’s self-esteem. The results show that children’s self-esteem is determined by social relations and material body, and different parenting styles may promote or inhibit the development of children’s self-esteem in many aspects of parenting, thus affecting the children’s overall self-esteem. At the same time, the influence of parenting style on children’s self-esteem is predictable and controllable to a certain extent. Parents can adjust their own parenting style to achieve the purpose of adjusting children’s self-esteem.
