On Engels’ Periodic Criticism of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution

摘要: 恩格斯曾在诸多著作中研究和分析达尔文进化论，称其为辩证唯物主义自然观和历史观的确立提供了自然科学依据。但我们从马克思恩格斯1859年到1876年中所有关于达尔文的往来书信可以看到，恩格斯对达尔文进化论的态度经历了推崇、质疑、批判三个阶段，恩格斯对达尔文论的认识具有阶段性特征。

Abstract: Engels studied and analyzed Darwin’s theory of evolution in many works, which provided the nat-ural science basis for the establishment of dialectical materialist view of nature and history. How-ever, we can see from all the correspondence about Darwin between Marx and Engels from 1859 to 1876 that Engels’ attitude towards Darwin’s theory of evolution has gone through three stages: praising, questioning and criticizing. Engels’ understanding of Darwin’s theory is characterized by stages.
