韩国流行音乐中女性身体符号的重新建构
Reconstruction of Female Body Symbols in Korean Pop Music
摘要: 韩国女子流行乐团(K-pop)从成立以来就以面向世界市场为目标,向全球进行文化输出。女性身体符号的操演在其中扮演着重要的话语表达,成为流行音乐中身体符号的建构与现实女性主义发展关系的一个缩影。本研究选取了2015年之后成立的女子K-pop团体的典型歌曲作为案例,对其歌曲歌词文本和MV画面中的身体符号进行分析,并由此回顾了女子K-pop团体的身体符号演变。研究发现,韩国流行音乐中的女性身体符号在一定程度上被重新建构,同时也在“自塑”和“他塑”之间产生了一种竞争关系:一方面是它呈现了一种“抵抗的身体”话语,但另一方面来看,这种话语的建构依靠的仍旧是文化工业塑造的消费符号,转向迎合“girl crush”的女性市场。
Abstract:
Since its inception, girls group of Korean pop (K-pop) has been aiming for the world market and exporting its culture globally. The manipulation of female body symbols plays an important discursive expression, epitomizing the relationship between the construction of body symbols in pop music and the development of real feminism. In this study, typical songs of K-pop girl groups formed after 2015 are selected as case studies to analyze the body symbols in their song lyric texts and music video, and thus review the evolution of body symbols in K-pop girl groups. The study finds that the female body symbol in K-pop music has been reconstructed, and at the same time, it has created a compet-itive relationship between “self-created” and “other-created”: On the one hand, it presents a discourse of “resistance to the body”, but on the other hand, the construction of this discourse still relies on the symbols of consumption shaped by the culture industry, but catering to the female market of “girl crush”.
