非外语专业学生跨文化交际能力的实证研究——以东北大学秦皇岛分校为例
An Empirical Study on Intercultural Communicative Competence of Non-Foreign Language Majors—Taking Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao as an Example
摘要: 本研究旨在进一步探索东北大学秦皇岛分校非外语专业学生的跨文化交际能力,通过采用探索性因子分析和卡法检验方法,提取出四个跨文化交际能力因子,分别为:语言交流能力、文化适应能力、跨文化教育经历以及文化沟通技巧。研究结果表明,非外语专业学生在跨文化交际能力上受多方面因素影响,且性别和专业在这些因子上没有显著差异。针对研究结果,本论文提出针对该校非外语专业学生提升跨文化能力的建议,包括课程设置、实践机会以及个人主观能动性等方面。
Abstract: This study aims at further exploring the intercultural communication competence of non-foreign language majors in Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao. Through the exploratory factor analysis and chi-square test methods, four intercultural communication competence factors were identified, namely: language communication ability, cultural adaptation ability, cross-cultural educational experience, and cultural communication skills. The results indicate that non-foreign language majors are influenced by various factors in their intercultural communication competence, and there are no significant differences in these factors based on gender and major. Based on the research findings, this paper proposes suggestions for enhancing the intercultural competence of non-foreign language majors at the university, including curriculum design, practical opportunities, and individual initiative.
