初中英语教材词汇练习活动设计的对比分析——以七年级新外研和新人教版教材为例
Comparative Analysis of Vocabulary Practice Activity Design in Junior High School English Textbooks—Taking Seventh Grade New Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and People’s Education Press Textbooks as Examples
摘要: 词汇知识的习得是英语学习的基础,英语教材作为教师教学和学生学习的主要材料,其词汇练习活动是课堂教学中巩固词汇的重要方式。本文以Nation词汇知识理论为基础,运用内容分析法对新外研版和新人教版七年级上下册英语教材中的词汇练习活动进行分析,发现新外研版和新人教版七年级教材均涵盖了形式、意义和使用三个范畴的词汇活动,且各有其侧重点。在此基础上,分别对教材编写者和教师提出相应的建议。
Abstract: The acquisition of vocabulary knowledge is fundamental to English learning. As the primary material for both teaching and learning, the vocabulary exercises in English textbooks serve as a crucial method for consolidating vocabulary. Based on Nation’s theory of vocabulary knowledge, this paper employs content analysis to examine the vocabulary exercises in the new editions of the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) and the People’s Education Press (PEP) seventh-grade English textbooks, both upper and lower volumes. The analysis reveals that both the FLTRP and PEP seventh-grade textbooks cover vocabulary activities across the three dimensions of form, meaning, and use, each with its own emphasis. On this basis, the paper provides corresponding suggestions for textbook compilers and teachers respectively.
