基于英语学习活动观的初中英语绘本阅读教学——以绘本“The Lion and the Mouse”为例
Teaching Picture Book Reading in Junior High School English Based on the Activity-Based Approach to English Learning—A Case Study of the Picture Book “The Lion and the Mouse”
摘要: 《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》指出,教师在初中语课堂教学中应积极秉承英语学习活动观念组织和开展教学活动。英语绘本作为初中英语教材的积极补充,深受初中生的喜爱,其具有图文并茂、寓意深刻的特点,能够帮助学生内化和巩固语言知识,为学生提供丰富的情感体验和积极的育人价值。针对英语绘本阅读教学现状,教师应以英语学习活动观的教学理念为指导,创新初中英语绘本阅读教学模式,从而提升学生的阅读能力。笔者基于英语学习活动观这一教学理念,以绘本“The Lion and the Mouse”为例,旨在探索在初中英语绘本教学中践行学习活动观的具体方法和策略,希望对初中英语阅读教学能有所帮助。
Abstract: The Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition) emphasize that teachers should actively apply the Activity-Based Approach to English Learning (ABAEL) in organizing and conducting teaching activities in junior high school English classes. English picture books, as a valuable supplement to junior high school English teaching materials, are highly favored by students. They combine vivid illustrations with profound themes, helping students consolidate language knowledge while providing rich emotional experiences and positive educational value. In response to the current state of picture book reading instruction, teachers should adopt the ABAEL teaching philosophy to innovate teaching methods, thereby enhancing students’ reading abilities. Based on the ABAEL framework and using “The Lion and the Mouse” as an example, this study explores specific methods and strategies for implementing ABAEL in junior high school English picture book teaching, aiming to contribute to the improvement of English reading instruction.
