Abstract: This article explores the emerging construction Yeshi X Shangle from the perspective of construction grammar, and presents its own views on the construction and characteristics, development and evolution, functions, construction meaning and causes of this construction. As a new Internet buzzword, Yeshi X Shangle is mostly used in colloquial language and on the Internet. Its structure has a euphemistic meaning, indicating helplessness and a slight teasing. It has the function of “weakening the positive meaning” and “teasing the negative meaning”, and is usually used in exclamation sentences in oral expression.
