Abstract: Induced abortion is a common gynecological procedure, with postoperative pain—particularly uterine contraction pain—significantly impacting patient recovery. Electrical stimulation therapy, including transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS), and pelvic floor electrical stimulation, has emerged as a valuable non-pharmacological approach for post-abortion analgesia and rehabilitation. This review synthesizes the latest clinical evidence to systematically examine the mechanisms of action, clinical efficacy, safety profiles, and future applications of various electrical stimulation modalities, aiming to inform optimized pain management strategies following induced abortion.
