The Impact of the “Social Work with Elders” Course on the Cognition and Attitude of Undergraduates Majoring in Elderly Care Service Management: An Exploratory Case Study

摘要: 研究旨在通过前后测的方法检验《老年社会工作》课程对养老服务管理专业本科生认知与态度的影响。32名大三学生在课程开始与结束时参与并完成了问卷调查，文章通过对样本t检验进行数据分析。研究发现，《老年社会工作》课程显著提升了养老服务管理专业本科生对社会工作专业知识的了解和掌握程度，增加了他们在实践中运用相关知识的频率。结果表明，社会工作知识在养老服务管理专业本科人才培养中发挥着重要的作用，养老服务管理专业本科有必要开设社会工作相关课程。

Abstract: This study aims to examine the impact of the “Social Work for the Elderly” course on the cognition and attitudes of undergraduate students majoring in elderly care service management through a pre-post test method. Thirty-two junior students participated in and completed questionnaire surveys at the beginning and end of the course. This paper conducts data analysis using a paired sample t-test. The study found that the “Social Work for the Elderly” course significantly enhanced the understanding and mastery of social work professional knowledge among undergraduate students majoring in elderly care service management, and increased the frequency of their application of relevant knowledge in practice. The results indicate that social work knowledge plays an important role in the cultivation of undergraduate talents in elderly care service management, and it is necessary for undergraduate programs in elderly care service management to offer courses related to social work.
