大连地铁站名规划的社会语言学考查

A Sociolinguistic Examination of Dalian Metro Station Naming Practices

摘要: 社会语言学是研究语言与社会共变关系的一门学科。地铁站名作为城市语言符号系统的重要组成部分，不仅具有承载地理信息的实用功能，更是地域文化的语言载体，蕴含着城市的历史脉络、文化内涵与社会心理。本文分析了大连市7条地铁线路中的100个地铁站名，从社会语言学的视角出发，分析了大连市地铁站名的音节数量、平仄搭配等语言特征，多元化的命名方式以及其蕴含的丰富的文化内涵和社会心理。通过分析地铁站名以期为地铁站的命名规划提供参考，推动大连市经济和文化发展，提升城市文化软实力。

Abstract: Sociolinguistics is a discipline that studies the co-varying relationship between language and society. As a vital component of the urban linguistic symbol system, metro station names not only serve the practical function of conveying geographical information but also act as linguistic carriers of regional culture, embodying the city’s historical context, cultural connotations, and social psychology. This paper analyzes 100 subway station names across Dalian’s seven subway lines. From a sociolinguistic perspective, it examines linguistic features such as syllable count and tone patterns, diverse naming conventions, and the rich cultural connotations and social psychology embedded within these names. By analyzing metro station names, this study aims to provide insights for future naming planning, promote Dalian’s economic and cultural development, and enhance the city’s cultural soft power.
