From Physical to Virtual: Opportunities and Challenges of E-Commerce in Art Transactions
摘要: 本文以“从实体到虚拟:电子商务在艺术品交易中的机遇与挑战”为题,探讨电子商务对艺术品市场的重塑与影响。文章首先简述艺术品市场数字化转型背景,随后深入分析电子商务的主要应用形式,包括在线拍卖、艺术电商平台及NFT与区块链技术的应用。研究发现,电子商务显著提升了艺术品市场的可及性与全球化水平,推动中低端市场快速扩张,促进价格与信息透明化,并为新兴艺术家与普通消费者提供了低门槛的参与渠道。然而,线上交易面临真伪认证、感官体验缺失、市场投机泡沫、以及传统收藏家对数字化模式的文化接受度不足等挑战。为应对上述问题,本文提出五方面的优化策略:运用区块链构建多层级溯源与信任机制;借助VR/AR、3D建模等技术提升线上沉浸式体验;完善行业监管、反投机机制与全球化艺术品数据库;建设专业化物流与分级保险体系;以及通过线上线下联动与社区建设增强用户文化认同感。最终,电子商务为艺术市场注入了创新活力,但其可持续发展仍依赖于技术创新、制度建设与文化价值的平衡整合。
Abstract: This paper, titled “From Physical to Virtual: Opportunities and Challenges of E-Commerce in Art Transactions”, explores the transformative impact of e-commerce on the art market. It begins with a brief overview of the digital transformation of the art market, followed by an in-depth analysis of the primary application forms of e-commerce, including online auction platforms, art e-commerce marketplaces, and the integration of NFTs and blockchain technology. The study finds that e-commerce has significantly enhanced the accessibility and globalization of the art market, driven rapid expansion of the mid- and low-end segments, promoted greater price and information transparency, and provided emerging artists and ordinary consumers with low-barrier participation channels. However, online transactions also face challenges such as difficulties in authenticity verification, the lack of sensory and tactile experience, market speculation and bubble risks, and insufficient cultural acceptance of digital models among traditional collectors. To address these issues, the paper proposes optimization strategies in five key areas: leveraging blockchain to establish multi-layered provenance and trust mechanisms; utilizing VR/AR and 3D modeling technologies to enhance immersive online experiences; improving industry regulation, anti-speculation mechanisms, and a global art database; developing specialized logistics and tiered insurance systems; and strengthening user cultural identification through online-offline integration and community-building initiatives. In conclusion, while e-commerce has injected innovative vitality into the art market, its sustainable development ultimately depends on the balanced integration of technological innovation, institutional frameworks, and cultural values.
