Abstract: Modernization is the core thread of the development of human civilization and the evolution of history, and it is also the irreversible direction of progress for human society. As a programmatic document of scientific socialism, the Communist Manifesto not only profoundly reveals the historical role and inherent limitations of the capitalist modernization model, but also clarifies the scientific path for the proletariat to promote social change and create a new type of modern civilization from the perspective of historical materialism. The modernization thought contained therein not only provided theoretical weapons for the proletarian revolutionary movement around the world, but also laid an important ideological foundation and pointed out the fundamental value guideline for the Communist Party of China to unite and lead the Chinese people in successfully pioneering and developing Chinese modernization.
