浅谈中草药在牙周病领域中的应用现状

A Brief Discussion on the Current Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Periodontal Disease

摘要: 牙周病是一种对牙周组织造成破坏性影响的感染性疾病，其主要症状包括牙齿的松动和脱落。为了维护牙周组织的健康状态，通常会采取牙周基础治疗等方法。然而，传统的抗生素类药物在治疗牙周病时疗效往往不够稳定，存在一定的局限性。与此同时，中草药由于其独特的抗炎作用、能够促进骨组织的再生以及相对较小的不良反应等优点，逐渐受到了医学界的重视和患者的青睐。本文旨在综述中草药在牙周病治疗领域的应用情况，探讨其潜在的治疗机制和临床效果，以期为中草药在牙周病治疗中的进一步临床应用和科学研究提供有价值的参考和借鉴。

Abstract: Periodontal disease is an infectious disease that has a destructive effect on periodontal tissue. Its main symptoms include tooth loosening and falling off. In order to maintain the health status of periodontal tissue, periodontal basic treatment and other methods are usually adopted. However, traditional antibiotics often have unstable efficacy in treating periodontal disease and have certain limitations. At the same time, Chinese herbal medicine has gradually gained attention and favor from the medical community and patients due to its unique anti-inflammatory effects, ability to promote bone tissue regeneration, and relatively small adverse reactions. This paper intends to conduct a review on the utilization of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of periodontal disease, and explore its potential therapeutic mechanisms and clinical effects, in order to provide valuable references and guidance for the further clinical application and scientific investigation into the application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of periodontal disease.
