Investigation and Analysis of College Students’ Participation in “Time Bank” Mutual Assistance Volunteer Service for the Aged

摘要: 目的：调查大学生对“时间银行”互助养老志愿服务模式的认知程度与参与意愿，为今后在高校层面推广该模式、优化养老服务供给提供参考。方法：采用横断面调查设计，通过问卷星平台对在校本科生进行问卷调查。问卷内容包括研究对象基本信息、对“时间银行”互助养老模式的知晓情况以及参与意愿等部分。结果：尽管95.67%的大学生表示愿意参与“时间银行”互助养老志愿服务，但多数受访者对其认知程度较低，表现为“不熟悉”或“非常不熟悉”。结论：推动大学生参与“时间银行”互助养老志愿服务具有现实可行性，但目前该群体对该模式的整体认知水平有限，需加强宣传与推广。

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the cognition and participation willingness of college students on the “time bank” mutual-aid elderly care volunteer service model, and to provide reference for promoting the model and optimizing the supply of elderly care services at the university level in the future. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on undergraduates through the questionnaire star platform. The questionnaire includes the basic information of the research object, the awareness of the ‘time bank’ mutual pension model and the willingness to participate. Results: Although 95.67 % of college students expressed their willingness to participate in the “time bank” mutual pension volunteer service, most respondents had a low level of awareness of it, which was manifested as “unfamiliar” or “very unfamiliar.” Conclusion: It is feasible to promote college students to participate in the ‘time bank’ mutual pension volunteer service, but the overall cognitive level of this group is limited, so it is necessary to strengthen publicity and promotion.
