“A Meaningful Life in Old Age”: The Implications, Essence, and Pathways of Reshaping Elderly Agency from a Marxist Anthropological Perspective

摘要: 人学研究应关注当代人的现实问题。重塑老年人的主体性，在马克思主义人学视域下就是要归还他们作为历史实践主体的应有地位，激活其蕴含的能动性、自主性与创造性力量。其内涵丰富而具体，体现在老年人持续学习参与的能动品格、自主定义生活与角色的权利意识，以及转化经验智慧、创新文化表达的独特创造之中。而实现这一蓝图，有赖于一场协同推进的社会建构：在观念上，完成从“消极养老”到“积极发展”的文化转型；在制度上，构建弹性包容、支持有力的政策环境；在实践上，搭建多元开放、代际融合的参与平台。

Abstract: Anthropological research should address the practical concerns of contemporary individuals. Reshaping elderly agencies within the Marxist anthropological framework entails restoring their rightful status as subjects of historical practice and activating their inherent dynamism, autonomy, and creative potential. Its rich and concrete connotations manifest in the proactive character of older adults’ sustained learning and participation, their awareness of the right to autonomously define their lives and roles, and their unique creativity in transforming experiential wisdom and innovating cultural expressions. Realizing this vision requires a collaboratively advanced social construction: conceptually, achieving a cultural shift from “passive aging” to “active development”; Institutionally, establishing a flexible, inclusive, and robust policy environment; Practically, building diverse, open platforms for intergenerational integration and participation.
